Our Story
In 2001, after a decade as a corporate trainer for a Fortune 100 company recognized by Fortune magazine as one of "America’s Most Admired Companies," Tina Gill chose to shift her passion for growth and development into the world of early childhood education. Fueled by her experiences as a trainer, teacher, mother, foster parent, and advocate for children with special needs, she founded Castles of Imagination with one mission: to build a preschool where every child—and every educator—could thrive.
From day one, individualized attention, teacher development, and a commitment to innovation have been at the heart of our school. We practice Conscious Discipline, partner with the University of South Florida as a Program-Wide Positive Behavior Support Site, and are proud to be nationally accredited and hold Florida’s Gold Seal of Excellence.
Our classrooms are rooted in hands-on learning, rich with social-emotional support, and tailored to the needs of both typical and exceptional learners. We work side by side with early interventionists, therapists, and researchers to ensure our practices evolve with the needs of our children and community. Our teachers complete hundreds of hours of continuing education, using cutting-edge strategies to support each young learner’s journey.
Now a school full of traditions and multiple generations of families, Castles of Imagination remains grounded in the belief that growth—both in children and in educators—is a lifelong journey. We’re honored to walk that path with every child who passes through our castle doors.
